Emakina, an EPAM company, is the new digital partner of Compagnie des Alpes

Compagnie des Alpes, a leading player in the leisure industry, has entrusted Emakina with its digital marketing portfolio for selected leisure parks. This decision comes after an extensive pitch process, during which The User Agency emerged victorious among numerous competitors. 

For 30 years, Compagnie des Alpes has established itself as a pioneer in the leisure industry. Compagnie des Alpes was founded in 1989 as a ski resort operator but has since extended its business to include over 10 mountain areas and 12 leisure parks, plus real estate and tour operations. Its theme parks include brands such as Walibi, Parc Astérix, Futuroscope, France Miniature, Aqualibi, Chaplin’s World and Bellewaerde

Emakina will offer strategic, technology and creative expertise to the CDC-owned business to create a ‘site factory’ for its various websites and apps. This term refers to a central resource for companies managing several digital spaces that allows them to create a master template and have an administrative interface for bulk changes. Emakina will rebuild websites and apps for most of the leisure parks owned by Compagnie des Alpes using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. ​ 

AEM has proven to be successful for clients such as visit.brussels and Qatar Tourism. Emakina helped the Brussels tourism and convention bureau to unify over 50 different B2B and B2C websites, winning a Mixx Award. Qatar Tourism has also undergone a successful digital transformation and seen Emakina win two Red Dot Awards for its AEM-built website and app, as well as an Adobe Experience Maker Award

The Compagnie des Alpes win comes on the back of Emakina’s successful three-year partnership with Walibi Belgium. “Our award-winning campaign to launch the record-breaking Kondaa and promoting their epic Halloween events are prime examples of how we help Walibi exceed sales targets,” says Emakina Account Director, Aurian de Caritat. “We look forward to helping Compagnie des Alpes meet their marketing and sales objectives.” 

Emakina’s first focus will be a complete rethink of the design experience of several leisure brands and developing four apps for Bellewaerde and three for Walibi Holland, Belgium and Rhône-Alpes. This project is international in nature, spanning four different countries, a factor contributing to their selection as the preferred agency.
